Under some starry sky,

i see you looking down upon me.

helping me with each step,
even lifting me when I get up in the morning.

you see so much more than what i ever could,
up there.

you hold my hand, and walk beside me through my day.

you watch me... i can see you, too.

if i could close my eyes, for once, I would not be up again.

if I could close my eyes, I would join you in that forever
dream that allways pretends to be life.

so, just help us, the exhausted.
who can not sleep the eternal, yet must wake, unrested to continue...
to breathe, to touch, to lose our sevles so much...

a waterfall upon the light of my eyes,
